PARENT COLLABORATION ATIVITY – PLANETS AND SPACE

Delhi Public School, East of Kailash believes in ensuring that parents are equal collaborators in the journey of learning. Following this initiative, Prep organised a Solar System Model Making activity with parents and children from 22nd to 25th September. Children, along with their parents, enthusiastically participated and created amazing models related to space. Some made beautiful models of the solar system, while others made rockets, satellites, astronauts and stars. Children learn best when they learn through love and play. The activity strengthened the parent-child bond while making learning fun. 

Hindi Diwas Celebration 14.09.2026

Delhi Public School, East of Kailash celebrated Hindi Diwas  with great enthusiasm and academic fervour on 14 September 2026 to commemorate the importance of the Hindi language and to promote greater appreciation and respect for its linguistic and cultural significance. The celebrations included a range of engaging educational activities for students across different grades. Picture based activities helped the students strengthen their Hindi vocabulary. The school held storytelling and poetry recitation sessions, opening up the world of Hindi literature for students. A slogan writing activity unlocked the creativity of the children. They also recited the slogans with great confidence in the class. Hindi teachers took the students to the Vishwa Hindi Mahasammelan held at India International Centre. The theme of the conference was Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – A Shared Culture of Global Dialogue.  These activities helped the students develop Hindi language skills and foster a love for the language. 

Breakfast with Grandmothers

Delhi Public School strongly believes in creating a holistic learning experience for children. From 8th-15th September, the Balvatika courtyard was filled with love and laughter as BV 1 celebrated ‘Breakfast with Grandmothers’. The children’s grandmothers joined their little ones to prepare a healthy and delicious breakfast together. From mixing fruit chaat to buttering sandwiches, every moment was a beautiful bonding experience. The activity instilled healthy eating habits, while creating wonderful memories for the children. The aroma of love and the joy of learning together made it truly special.
