Delhi Public School, East of Kailash organised a visit to the Blind School on 30/01/2026. Under this initiative, members of the Inclusive Education Club along with the students of Class V were taken to the Blind Relief Association, Mathura Road. During the visit, the students interacted with the visually impaired students and listened to their daily life experiences. As a token of love and support, the students of the school presented cricket bats to the students of the blind school. The students also observed various skill development programmes conducted there, such as paper bag making, candle making, cloth bag making, and clay diya making. They understood how visually impaired children are gaining proficiency in these skills. The students also learned about Braille script during the visit. DPS East of Kailash is committed to building an inclusive learning environment. The visit gave the students a new perspective and allowed them to interact with people from different walks of life.
