The students of Class V were taken on a visit to the New Parliament building as part of an educational field trip organised by the school. The visit aimed to help students understand the functioning of the Indian government and learn about the importance of democracy. The students were accompanied by teachers and school staff. The students visited the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha and learned about the architecture and the historical significance of the building. Functionaries explained the roles of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and how laws are made in the country. The students were especially excited to see the grand halls, artworks and national symbols displayed inside the Parliament. The visit was both informative and inspiring. Students asked many questions and showed great curiosity to learn about how the nation is governed.
