Delhi Public School, East of Kailash organised Orientation Programmes in the first week of April to welcome the parents of Classes III, IV and V. The Class Representatives of each class welcomed the parents. This was followed by a cultural programme, where students showcased their talents through vibrant performance. The gathering was then addressed by the Headmistress, Ms. Usha Diptivilasa, who emphasised the importance of a strong partnership between parents and the school. Subsequently, the Supervisor introduced the class teachers, subject teachers and senior subject coordinators, enabling parents acquaint themselves with the faculty.
CLASS III
Ms. Ruchira Bajpai, Examination Incharge, introduced the assessment structure and gave important guidelines for the academic session. Internal assessment criteria was explained to the parents.
CLASS IV
With the introduction of the 3rd Language in Class IV, parents were apprised of its role in the academic structure and the assessments for the same.
CLASS V
Examination and Internal Assessment guidelines were reiterated and the parents were informed about the role of the 3rd language in the report card.
