TOPIC: The Green Promise

The students of Class II B presented an assembly on the theme ‘The Green Promise’. The programme aimed to spread awareness about reducing plastic use and protecting the environment. The assembly began with a prayer followed by a theme-based Thought for the Day, encouraging everyone to care for the Earth. A short and impactful skit highlighted the harmful effects of plastic bags and promoted the use of eco-friendly alternatives like cloth bags. The students also shared how plastic pollution affects sea creatures. The assembly included an energetic dance performance on ‘Tik Tik Plastic,’ which creatively reinforced the message. It inspired everyone to take small steps towards a plastic-free future.
The assembly concluded with the School Anthem followed by a group photograph.
