A Celebration of Experiential Learning
Cambridge Day 2026 was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm, transforming the school campus into a vibrant carnival of experiential learning. Featuring over 25 interactive learning zones, the event brought together students from Early Years 1 to Stage 4, parents and faculty members, under the gracious presence of our Principal and Headmistress. The celebrations commenced with a colourful Festival Ramp Walk, promoting cultural diversity and global-mindedness, followed by a delightful march by the little Ants of Early Years 2. The main stage came alive with the Happiness Song, energetic dance performances and the Jute Fashion Ramp Walk, which highlighted creativity and sustainable fashion through the message, ‘Go Green, Wear Jute, Walk with Pride!’ Across the stages, children explored a wide range of engaging activities. Early Years learners participated in puppet play, science experiments, numeracy games, The Enormous Turnip enactment and a Jungle Dance, developing curiosity, confidence, coordination and teamwork. Stage 2 learners explored Science, Mathematics, English and Global Perspectives through an interdisciplinary learning maze. Stage 3 students engaged in vocabulary games, mathematical challenges, life-cycle exploration, music and recycling activities. Stage 4 learners strengthened their language skills through interactive English games and discovered the practical applications of mathematics through estimation, problem-solving and shopping simulations. The co-curricular departments further enriched the celebration. Physical Education organised exciting races that promoted fitness and sportsmanship, while Creative Arts showcased students’ imaginative creations. Creative Music offered interactive musical challenges, the Library Department encouraged a love for reading through book-based games, and Digital Literacy introduced students to drones, robotics, voice assistants and artificial intelligence. Cambridge Day 2026 beautifully reflected the spirit of learning beyond textbooks. Through hands-on exploration, collaboration and creative expression, students developed critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills while embodying the Cambridge Learner Attributes of being Confident, Responsible, Reflective, Innovative and Engaged. The event concluded as a memorable celebration of holistic development and the strong partnership between the school, parents and teachers.
