Class II-D presented an assembly on the theme ‘Fitness First,’ highlighting the importance of staying fit and adopting a healthy and active lifestyle. The assembly began with a warm welcome by the Class Teacher, followed by an introduction to the theme. The students shared their thoughts on what fitness means and why it is important in our daily lives, along with the Thought for the Day. This was followed by a soulful prayer, ‘10,000 Reasons’. The assembly then featured a Talent Showcase, where the students confidently displayed their individual talents. The performances included a solo singing performance, a Kathak fusion performance and a piano performance. A meaningful skit on the importance of fitness followed. Through the skit, the students highlighted the need to stay physically active and explained how spending excessive time on mobile phones and video games can make children inactive and lethargic. The presentation encouraged everyone to make healthier choices. The assembly continued with an energetic Zumba performance. The presentation was further enriched by impressive displays of hula-hooping, a split, yoga poses and skating. Two students were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements in the Olympiad. The event concluded with the School Anthem followed by the National anthem and a class photograph of the students along with their parents.
