Under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga initiative of the Delhi government, Delhi Public School encouraged its student body to participate in the patriotic spirit through various activities. Students decorated the school in the colours of the national flag and ensured that the premises remained pristine. The national flag was hoisted to mark the beginning of the Independence Day celebrations. The students then took a pledge to honour the flag and the freedom struggle that brought us independence.
The students and teachers took part in a fun activity, Selfie with the Tiranga, posing proudly with the national flag.
A quiz was conducted on the freedom struggle and the significance of the Indian National flag.
Moved by the sacrifice and selflessness of the armed forces, the students penned letters to the various branches of the forces expressing gratitude and appreciation. The school website proudly showcased the various efforts of the students to celebrate this historic day.
