The World Through Little Eyes – Where Everything Still Feels Magical
Delhi Public School, East of Kailash hosted the Scholar Badge Ceremony 2026–27, a celebration of lifelong learning on August 1, 2026. The ceremony, centred around an enchanting theme, ‘The World Through Little Eyes – Where Everything Still Feels Magical’, reminded the audience that true learning begins with the curiosity and wonder of childhood.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge. The ceremony was graced by the presence of our Principal, Mr.Anil Kumar, Incharge, DPS East of Kailash, Ms. Dimple Menon, teachers and proud parents. Following the felicitation of the Principal, Ms. Dimple Menon addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of nurturing not only academic excellence but also the courage to dream.
The cultural presentation formed the heart of the ceremony. The Invocation Dance, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, resounded through the auditorium. A thoughtfully conceived skit explored the contrast between the hurried world of adults and the imaginative, joyful world of children, evoking a deep sense of nostalgia. A tableau of childhood games accompanied the soulful choir, followed by a vibrant dance performance on Feel the Magic, celebrating imagination and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead for every child. The closing message encapsulated the spirit of the ceremony: Don’t teach us to grow out of wonder…teach us to grow with it.
The proud scholars were then invited to receive their Scholar Badges from the Principal, Mr. Anil Kumar, marking an important milestone in their educational journey. The ceremony celebrated not only their accomplishments but also the values that made those accomplishments possible.
The event concluded with the Principal’s address, encouraging students to pursue their dreams and aim for the stars. As the curtains fell, the message remained: the world is still magical—and perhaps the best way to see it is through little eyes.
