Topic: The Ram Within You

The assembly of IV D, titled ‘The Ram Within You’ was presented in anticipation of the upcoming Dussehra festival and aimed to demonstrate the significance of Lord Ram’s teachings in today’s world. 

The assembly began with the students invoking divine blessings through the Ram Stuti. The life of Lord Ram was beautifully brought to life through poem recitations and enactments, offering a profound glimpse into his virtues. The students then performed a short skit which encouraged the children to recognize the qualities of Lord Ram within themselves and emphasized the importance of listening to one’s inner voice of righteousness, encouraging reflection and self-awareness. The students then performed a graceful dance centered on women empowerment,  which captivated the audience. The assembly concluded with  the national anthem, followed by a class photograph to commemorate the occasion.

TOPIC: Health is Wealth

The assembly of IV C, titled ‘Health is Wealth’ aimed to highlight the importance of health and its value in life.

The assembly started with the recitation of a prayer. The students presented a thought for the day and spoke about the relevance of health. The students then presented a Nukkad Natak that demonstrated the importance of a healthy diet.  The students presented a variety of talents in the Talent Show like a song, a dance and various performances on the keyboard and the ukulele. After that, they presented a group song. The students then performed an energetic aerobics dance. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem and a group photograph.

TOPIC: Heroes of the Path of Truth

The assembly of IV B, titled ‘Heroes of the Path of Truth’ focussed on honoring the great freedom fighters of India who gave their lives for the nation. 

The assembly started with the thought for the day followed by a shloka and the morning prayer. The assembly was dedicated to honoring the remarkable freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Jawahar Lal Nehru and others, who paved the way for independence with their courage, vision, and resilience. A skit was performed by the children highlighting the Dandi March and the  Non Co-operation movement followed by choral recitation. The students performed a group dance on patriotism. The students demonstrated their talent and performed a classical dance on Ganesh vandana, displayed their singing, keyboard, hula hoop, skateboard and waveboard skills. The assembly concluded with the National anthem followed by a group photograph.

TOPIC: Gandhi Forever

CLASS TEACHER: Salonee Puri

The assembly of IV A, titled ‘Gandhi Forever’ was presented on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti to highlight the relevance of the Mahatma’s teachings today.

The assembly began with a poem, followed by a skit on the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. After that, all the students of Class IV A came together to sing a bhajan led. The bhajan ended with an enactment of the assassination. The students then performed a dance that depicted scenes from Gandhiji’s life. The students displayed their width of talents through a talent show which included skating, hoopla and dance performances and a taekwondo demonstration as well. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph.

TOPIC: The Power of Self Discipline

The assembly of II F, titled ‘The Power of Self Discipline’ aimed to highlight the importance of focus and discipline in the children. 

The students began the assembly with the recitation of a prayer. The theme of the assembly was effectively portrayed through a song and a short skit that emphasized the importance of discipline  and time management. A talent show brought out the various talents of the students. An uplifting dance performance brought the whole class together. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph. 

TOPIC: Every Drop of Water is Worth More Than a Sack of Gold

DATE: 27th September, 2024

CLASS TEACHER: Deepa Bhargava

The assembly of II E, titled ‘Every Drop of Water is Worth More Than a Sack of Gold’ aimed to highlight the importance of water conservation and its irreplaceable value in sustaining life. 

The students recited  the Gayatri Mantra, followed by the morning prayer. A group of students sang the “Water for Life” song. The students performed a role play and recited poems to highlight the significance of their theme. The assembly featured an energetic and visually stunning dance performance titled Mission Paani. A water conservation pledge conveyed a sense of purpose to the students’ endeavours. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph. 

TOPIC: Mistakes are Opportunities to Learn

The assembly of II D, titled ‘Mistakes are Opportunities to Learn’ aimed to instill the value of learning from mistakes and embracing challenges in our everyday life.

The students began the assembly with the recitation of a prayer. The theme of the assembly was portrayed through a skit and a song that encouraged everyone to embrace challenges and learn from their mistakes. A sprightly dance performance on the theme had everyone tapping their feet. A talent show displayed the various skills that the students have worked towards. The assembly empowered the students with a positive outlook on life. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph.

TOPIC: The Magic of Gratitude

The assembly of II C, titled ‘The Magic of Gratitude’ aimed to show how expressing gratitude can create positivity and spread happiness.

The students began the assembly with the krishna chant followed by a shloka and mantra chant. The students put up individual performances which showcased their special talents like skating, hoopla, cartwheels, splits and instrumental music. The theme of the assembly was brought out through the recitation of a poem and a song performance. The students then came together in a vibrant dance performance.  The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph. 

TOPIC: Dream Big – A Journey of Aspirations

CLASS TEACHER: Indu Narang

The assembly of II B, titled ‘Dream Big – A Journey of Aspirations’ aimed to show the aims and aspirations of the students and encourage them to ‘dream big’. 

The students began the assembly with the recitation of a prayer. They displayed their talents through a science experiment, a math trick, and a display of artwork. The theme of the assembly was reflected in the acronym DREAM (Dare, Reach, Empower, Achieve, Make a Difference), as well as a song. A lively dance performance brought the assembly to a close. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph. 

TOPIC: Be Your Own Superhero

The assembly of II A, titled ‘Be Your Own Superhero’ was presented with great fervour and enthusiasm.

The students began the assembly with an invocation prayer song. The message of becoming self confident was aptly presented through a mime titled ‘How to be Brave’, meaningful quotations and a group recitation titled – Self Confidence. The students displayed their width of talents through a group song. The assembly came to a close with a group. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem followed by a group photograph.
